Timothy Reiss: "Rethinking the Renaissance: Trans-Atlantic Circuits and Cultural Exchanges"

Timothy Reiss is Professor of Comparative Literature at New York University. His interests include Renaissance and 18th-century European literature, history, and politics; history and theory of theatre; cultural and political theory; and the Americas Intercultural exchanges. Professor Reiss's most recent book, Mirages of the Selfe: Patterns of Personhood in Ancient and Early Modern Europe, was published by Stanford University Press in 2003.
