University Public Worship, Multi-Faith Celebration Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Guest preacher: Rabbi William L. Rothschild, son of Rabbi Jacob M. Rothschild, a courageous voice for Civil Rights, and a friend and colleague of Dr. King. In 1958, he experienced the bombing of his father's synagogue, an event chronicled in Melissa Fay Greene's award-winning book, "The Temple Bombing." The Memorial Church Choir and Talisman will provide special music. All are welcome.
