South Asian Awareness Week - Seeing South Asia: Awareness Through Film

Sanskriti presents its second annual South Asian Awareness Week from Monday, January 17 to Friday, January 21. This year the focus is on awareness through film, so the week will be comprised of film and documentary screenings. We will kick off the week on Monday night at 7:30 pm in Building 260, Room 113, with a keynote address by Ulka Anjaria, Ph.D. candidate in Modern Thought and Literature, and dessert. Speakers later in the week include directors Nisha Ganatra (Chutney Popcorn) and Piyush Pandya (American Desi). Meals will be provided at all events.
