Seminar with Arnaud Desplechin and lecture, "The French Cultural Exception," by Jean-Michel Frodon

Part of the series From Script to Screen: Conversations on Contemporary French Cinema. Arnaud Desplechin will lead a seminar on his work, followed by a lecture by Jean-Michel Frodon, the editor in chief of Cahiers du Cinema. This event precedes the screening of Desplechin's film Rois et reines (Kings and Queens) at 6 p.m. in Cubberley Auditorium. The lecture and discussion will be in English; the film is in French with English subtitles.
