Biological Terrorism: A New Threat for a New Century

Christopher F. Chyba, co-director of the Center for International Security and Cooperation and associate professor (research) of geological and environmental sciences, will give a lecture titled "Biological Terrorism: A New Threat for a New Century," at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, in Room 180 of the Law School. The event, which is preceded by a reception at 7:30 p.m., is sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Northern California, the Stanford Center on Conflict and Negotiation and the Center for International Security and Cooperation.

Chyba's research interests center on biological terrorism, emerging infectious diseases, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, origins of life and solar system exploration.
