Dr. Lowe's informatics interests are focused on the innovative use of computer science and information technology to improve human health. His research includes work on the multimedia electronic health record, automated knowledge extraction from clinical documents, biomedical knowledge representation, imaging informatics, cancer informatics, data integration, biomedical data repositories and informatics support for translational research.
