BASES Energy Technology Panel

An outstanding panel of leaders in energy issues will discuss current topics in energy including national and international policy, economics, private investments into new energy options, and innovations in technology. The

goal of the panel is to provide an interdisciplinary look at what the future of energy is and what legislation and financial resources may be needed to achieve this future. The panelists are:

* Chris Edwards, Deputy Director, Global Climate and Energy Project

* Stephen Schneider, Co-Director, Center for Environmental Science and Policy

* Erik Straser, General Partner, Mohr Davidow Ventures

* John Weyant, Research Professor, Management Science and Engineering

Each panelist brings a unique background to what promises to be a lively and multifaceted discussion of what has been identified as one of the biggest challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. The panel discussion will be followed by a mixer.
