Affective Learning with Technology that Senses and Responds to Emotion

Rosalind Picard, Director of Affective Computing Research and Co-Director of “Things that Think” at M.I.T.'s Media Laboratory, has designed and developed a variety of new techniques for sensing, recognizing and responding respectfully to human affective information. She will demonstrate some of these techniques and discuss the applications of her work in human and machine learning.
