BASES Workshop: Current Topics in IP Protection

Roland Vogl, Executive Director of the Stanford Program in Law, Science, & Technology, will lead this BASES Innovator's Challenge Workshop on current topics in intellectual property protection.

The Stanford-Berkeley-Caltech Innovators' Challenge is a joint technology contest organized by BASES, the Business Association of Stanford Engineering students, and VERTEX, the Engineering Entrepreneurship Club at UC Berkeley.

The 2005 Innovator's Challenge is proud to welcome Caltech to the competition.

The I-Challenge Competition is designed to provide a unique opportunity to innovators in the engineering and relating disciplines to showcase their endeavors. Ones showing most promise in the immediate or near future are selected as winners but the competition is more about empowering the participants to exhibit their talents and skills through their projects.

A select number of teams will have the opportunity to showcase their work to a panel of judges who will decide the winners. Judges will be prominent technologists from each school's engineering community and industry.

First Round Abstracts are due on Friday, March 19, 2005. Cash prizes totaling over $30,000 will be awarded to the winners! Don't miss this great opportunity!
