Kite Flying Festival (Basant)

Basant is an annual kite flying festival celebrated in both Pakistan and India. It marks the onset of spring and is celebrated with color, enthusiasm and kite flying activities throughout the day and night. For the first time on Stanford campus, the Pakistanis At Stanford student association is organizing the Kite flying festival in collaboration with Bechtel Intl. Center.
