"táthaigh"..... to weld, solder or join together, is the

name of a new group formed to explore the crossroads

between American jazz and traditional Irish music. Join

"táthaigh" in concert with Melanie O'Reilly and Sean

O'Nuallain at Stanford University on March 12th. Sambas,

reels, swing... even Klezmer; "táthaigh" plays it all with

enthusiasm backed by decades of musical experience.

Matched with Melanie O'Reilly's impeccable Jazz

credentials and Seans years of Irish session experience,

this is an evenings concert not to miss. The evening will

being with Sean O'Nuallain and Stanford English Department

consulting professor, Matthew Jockers speaking on

Irish-American culture and literature.
