EXHIBIT HELD OVER! As part of its 2005 celebration of the King Holiday and legacy, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Papers Project is sponsoring a photographic retrospective commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March for Voting Rights. Images by noted civil rights photographer Matt Herron chronicle the March, which attracted 25,000 black and white Americans from all over the country and every walk of life and led directly to the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The exhibit has been extended through March 28th.
