Stanford School of Education Cubberley Lecture Series Presents: Professor Carol Dweck
How can teachers develop students' motivation -- and success? What can they do to develop students who will relish challenges rather than be overwhelmed by them? Professor Carol Dweck has pioneered the study of how children's self-beliefs and goals influence their learning and academic achievement. She will describe how teachers can enhance student learning based on the idea of expandable intelligence.
A reception will immediately follow the lecture.
Carol Dweck is a Professor of Social Psychology at Stanford.
