The Rockridge Institute in Conversation with Roosevelt Directors and Writing Group

Rockridge Institute representatives David Browdin and Dan Kurtz will conduct a workshop on framing for Roosevelt directors and the members of Roosevelt's Writing Group. The Rockridge Institute works to reframe the public debate to make a progressive moral vision more persuasive and resonant, and tell the progressive story in moral terms, connecting it to the values and ideals embodied in America's history and traditions. By building links with activists, policymakers, the media, academics, and other key groups, Rockridge works to educate the public, inform the public debate, and advance public policies that will bring us closer to a society that is just, democratic, humane and environmentally sustainable. Rockridge aims to nurture a unified voice among those working for progressive change by developing a common progressive story, a common moral language and shared policy directions.

Brodwin, Managing Director of Rockridge, has held executive positions in consulting and marketing in the technology and media industries, and often appears in technology, academic, trade, and professional journals. Kurtz works on Rockridge's strategic framing project; his research interests include technology, education and the effects of national media on public discourse.

Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and refreshments will be served. This event is closed to the public.
