Literary Reading with David Vann

David Vann will read from A Mile Down: The True Story of a Disastrous Career at Sea.

David's work has been published in The Atlantic Monthly and other magazines and has won numerous awards. At Stanford, he was an undergraduate, Wallace Stegner Fellow, John L'Heureau Fellow, Jones Lecturer, and Continuing Studies Lecturer. He has also taught at Cornell and S.F. State and currently teaches Travel and Adventure Writing for AllLearn, a consortium of Oxford, Stanford and Yale. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 200-ton Master's License and has sailed more than forty thousand miles offshore. He may be reached through his website at www.davidvann.com.
