An Evening with George Lakoff

“Progressive values are the best of traditional American values. Stand up for your values with dignity and strength.” —George Lakoff

On the 22nd, join George Lakoff for a discussion about how to articulate progressive values, counter conservative arguments, decode the ways conservatives frame issues, and reframe the debate. Q&A and book signing will follow. Visit www.reclaimthedebate.com to reserve your tickets.

Lakoff, Professor of Cognitive Linguistics at the University of California at Berkeley and a founding fellow of the Rockridge Institute, is the author of the New York Times bestseller "Don't Think of An Elephant! Know Your Values and Frame the Debate," and has been called “one of the most influential political thinkers of the progressive movement” by Howard Dean.

“An Evening with George Lakoff” is presented by the Roosevelt Institution, in conjunction with Reclaim the Debate, the Rockridge Institute, and others.
