A Different Universe: Robert Laughlin

In this provocative lecture, Nobel Prize-winning physicist and Stanford professor Robert Laughlin proposes nothing less than a new way of thinking about science. He explains how the most fundamental laws of physics are in fact emergent and are properties of large assemblages of matter. His is a universe teeming with natural phenomena yet to be discovered.
