Women's Health: a New Paradigm - SCCMA Health and the Environment Conference Series

A growing body of scientific evidence points to chemical

pollution in the air, water, and food as a contributor to disease. Research on pollutants has spawned the emerging field of medicine known as Environmental Health. This event is one of a series of conferences at Bay area hospitals for physicians and the public organized by the Santa Clara County Medical Association (SCCMA) during Environmental Health Awareness Month. Stanford's featured speaker, Deborah Metzger, MD, PhD, will speak on environmental impacts to women's health. Her lecture is cosponsored by the Stanford chapter of Physician's for Social Responsibility. Additional conferences and information can be found at http://sccma.org/
