Compline

A 30-minute reflective service of chant, hymns and prayers sung by a variety of Stanford and local choirs in the candlelit ambiance of Memorial Church. This Sunday, Compline features St. Bede's Episcopal Church Choir, under the direction of Jane McDougle. Compline is offered when the day is nearly over, and the quietness of evening settles in the hearts and minds of those who have come together in thankfulness for the blessings of the day that is past, and in anticipation of God's promise for a new day. All are welcome, and no participation is necessary. Spring Quarter 2005 Compline services take place Sunday evenings, April 3 - May 22.
