James Fearon in Conversation with Roosevelt Fellows

James Fearon, a professor in Stanford's Political Science Department, will conduct a discussion with fellows from Roosevelt's Center on International Security and Center on International Development, Democracy and Health.

Professor Fearon is the Theodore and Frances Geballe Professor in the

School of Humanities and Sciences, a professor of political science and

CISAC affiliated faculty member at Stanford University. His research has

focused on democracy and international disputes, explanations for

interstate wars, and, most recently, the causes of civil and especially

ethnic violence. Fearon will discuss his yet-to-be-published proposal

for UN reform with fellows.
