Emerson String Quartet

Individually, they are complete virtuosos. Together, they are seamless magic. For more than 20 years, the Grammy Award-winning Emerson String Quartet has shared extraordinary musical experiences and an abiding friendship with the Lively Arts community. For opening night, in honor of this deep connection, the quartet offers a special treat-a rare performance of Bach's The Art of Fugue in its entirety. Eugene Drucker, violin; Philip Setzer, violin; Lawrence Dutton, viola; David Finckel, cello.

"If there's a better string quartet in America, I haven't heard it." -New York Daily News
