Sydney Dance Company "Ellipse"

Lively Arts audiences were spellbound three years ago when this astonishing Australian company gave the American debut of Salome. Theatrical and hip, Graeme Murphy's troupe is back and at the top of its game with Ellipse. Dressed in spare yet romantic costumes by fashion designer Akira Isogawa, propelled by Matthew Hindson's sumptuously modern score, and accompanied by fascinating onstage lighting devices, the dancers explore love, contemplation, rivalry, and seeking with relentless and impossible fluidity.
