Peabody Trio

Classic tales and classical music come together in the world premiere of a new composition

inspired by author Donald Barthelme's postmodern twist on the ancient Sinbad legend.

Narrated by actor Walter Van Dyk, this imaginative new work by composer Harold Meltzer

illustrates the innovative piano trio's commitment to new music--and contemporary

storytelling--while selections from Beethoven and Schubert showcase its dynamic

versatility. Violaine Melancon, violin; Natasha Brofsky, cello; Seth Knopp, piano.
