Joshua Bell, violin, and Simon Mulligan, piano, with the St. Lawrence String Quartet

Whether he is performing with the world's leading symphonies or jamming with the likes of

Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, or James Taylor, Joshua Bell has an inspired technique and a

captivating charm that have earned him universal acclaim. First presented by Lively Arts

when he was just 16, Bell now has 26 albums, two Grammy Awards, and the Oscar-winning

soundtrack to The Red Violin to his credit. Popular classical and jazz pianist Simon

Mulligan teams up with Bell. Special guest the St. Lawrence String Quartet, Stanford's

ensemble-in-residence, joins in for Chausson's Concert in D Major.

"...a true artist and intellectual whose music feeds both your brain and your heart."
