Kronos Quartet: Under 30 Project

The finest young composers are being sought by the champions of contemporary music. In

celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Kronos Quartet embarked on a number of special

activities to cultivate young artists and to form lasting associations with the next

creative generation. The Under 30 Project is a significant three-year program for composers

under 30 years of age. As the presenting partner for 2003-04, Lively Arts is commissioning

and unveiling the world premiere of the selected composer's creation. David Harrington,
