Slam Poetry Performance and Open Mic

Join slam poet/solo performer Aya de Leon and some of the Bay Area's hottest poets for an evening of slam-style poetry. Slam is a competitive, in-your-face style of poetry where poets are judged on a scale of 1-10. Kind of like the Olympics, only poetry. However, there will be no judging at this event. Feel free to bring your own work for the Open Mic; sign up begins at 7:00.
