Crosspulse Percussion Quintet Concert

"A wonder-producing quintet--they drum, they dance, they chant, they slap and pat their torsos and limbs, they make visual music that fills a room with physical excitement"--San Francisco Bay Guardian

Part international drill team, part polycultural rhythm section, the Crosspulse Percussion Quintet brings together synchronized movement, world drumming, lush vocals, and innovative body music for an entertaining and free family-friendly performance. Crosspulse leader Keith Terry uses any surface to produce rhythm--clapping his hands, popping his fingers, stamping his feet, whomping his chest, slapping his belly--building his music out of a surprisingly varied register of sounds and clever rhythmic variations. Appropriate for ages 8-11 and parents.
