The Forgotten Refugees

Between 1945 and 1967 nearly 1 million Jews were expelled or forced to flee from Arab countries and Iran, following waves of violence directed against them by nationalist regimes. Some lived in countries like Iraq, Yemen and Syria for 2600 years, preceding the rise of Islam by well over a thousand years. Joseph Wahed, an Egyptian Jew, will share his personal story and conduct a conversation with the audience about "The Forgotten Refugees" - an acclaimed new documentary movie.
