Unveiling North Korea's Prison Camps: Testimony of North Korean Concentration Camp Survivor

There are over 200,000 men, women, and children imprisoned in North Korea's concentration camps. Ms. Sun Ok Lee is one of just three prisoners worldwide to have escaped North Korea, likely the worst human rights violator in the world. Ms. Lee endured 14 months of torture by North Korean authorities attempting to extract a false confession from her. She will discuss her experiences that include slave labor, starvation, systemic torture, and witnessing horrific executions, including molten metal being poured on prisoners. She has dedicated her life to sharing her story and those of her fellow prisoners with the world. Together, we can do something about the mass human rights violations committed by North Korea.
