July 3rd Celebration with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Fireworks

Jump and jive to the swinging sounds of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Stanford Lively Arts' annual pre-Independence Day celebration outdoors in beautiful Frost Amphitheater. This sizzling, Grammy-nominated swing band grooves with a brassy, high-energy sound that melds jive rhythms of the 1940s with influences of rock and New Orleans jazz. A spectacular display of fireworks follows the lively music. Bring the whole family and come early to picnic.

"...BBVD knows how to pack a dance floor [with] a killer five-piece horn section that...roars through town like a freight train...” —Ventura County Star

Gates open at 5:30 pm. (The music will be performed, rain or shine; fireworks dependent upon weather conditions.)
