Emerging Entrepreneurs in Biomedical Technology

This unique course will explore real-world issues and events that occur in the first few years of a new venture, and extends well beyond writing the business plan. Building upon participants' existing medical device experience, sessions will explore the complex processes of creating early-stage value, including issues such as assessing ideas, building a founding team, raising capital, executing milestones, and improving accountability and operations.

The workshop format is rapid-fire and content-intensive. Special pathways within the curriculum are being developed for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs (who bring forward new innovations within companies), and university-based innovators. Networking opportunities include lunches and a Friday evening event at The Cantor Arts Center!
