Just four years ago, many were concerned about Citizens United and the power of big donors. Now our politics are driven by Twitter and Facebook. Are we better off in this new political world of social media?

Bruce Cain is the Spence and Cleone Eccles Family Director of the Bill Lane Center for the American West, and Charles Louis Ducommun Professor in Humanities and Sciences. An expert in the field of U.S. and California politics, he specializes in computer-assisted redistricting, polling, elections, and the relationships between lobbyists and elected officials. His expertise is highly sought after in media coverage of politics.

This program is part of Classes Without Quizzes at Reunion Homecoming.
