Faculty Reading: The Night of a Thousand Words

The Continuing Studies Writer's Studio boasts some of the Bay Area's finest writers. In this program, current writing teachers will join together to give brief readings from their work.

Included will be:

SCOTT HUTCHINS, a recipient of numerous awards for

his short and long fiction including two Major

Hopwood Awards and an Andrea Beauchamp Prize;

ROBIN EKISS, whose work has appeared or is forthcoming

in the "Kenyon Review", "New England Review",

"Gulf Coast," "Prairie Schooner," "Borderlands," "Salt Hill

Journal," and elsewhere;

OTIS HASCHEMEYER, whose work has appeared in "Best

New American Voices," "Missouri Review", and "The Sun";

DAVID RODERICK, whose poetry and critical essays have

appeared in "The Hudson Review," "Agni," and "New

England Review";

CAROLINE GOODWIN, whose work has appeared most

recently in "The New Republic," "The Comstock Review,"

and "The Cimarron Review"; and

ERIC PUCHNER, whose stories have appeared in "Zoetrope",

"The Chicago Tribune", and "Best New American Voices",

and whose collection of stories, "Music Through The

Floor", is forthcoming from Scribner.
