Assistant Professor Scott Dixon received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and did his postdoctoral fellowship in the lab of Brent Stockwell at Columbia University. Dr. Dixon started his lab at Stanford in 2014. His current research is to investigate the cell death using chemical biology and functional genomics. Dr. Dixon's goal is to build a multi-disciplinary team of junior and senior researchers dedicated to scientific excellence in the study of cell death and related phenomena.  He is committed to providing a positive scientific environment conducive to learning and personal scientific development
