"I really just go with what my soul says."  —Masego

Is It Rap? Is It Jazz? No, It’s "trap house jazz," Masego style. Born in Jamaica and raised in Virginia, Masego (which means "blessed" in Tswana, the official language of Botswana) has created and curated a new wave known for blending Southern beats with classical jazz elements and a cartoonish character. Calling him a hip-hop artist doesn't even begin to tell the whole story—he's a vocalist who also plays cello, trumpet, drums, guitar, piano, and saxophone. His goal: to innovate and inspire.

Join us for a night with Masego in our newly-revamped cabaret space in the Bing Concert Hall Studio.
