Kurt Ollmann, baritone and Fred Weldy, piano

The A. Jess Shenson Young Artists recital series presents Ollmann and Weldy in a performance of Schubert's Winterreise. Ollmann's career encompasses the concert stage, opera, oratorio, and musical theatre, as well as his active engagement in furthering the work of American composers through American Voices, which disseminates American song to developing countries. Weldy, a senior lecturer in piano at Stanford, has graced stages throughout the US, Europe, and Canada as a soloist and collaborator, and is a recipient of numerous awards and fellowships. The Shenson Series showcases singers and their pianists in intimate recitals to highlight the unique collaboration of voice and keyboard.
