Volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Sunset Magazine Idea House

Come volunteer at the Green-Built and Eco-Friendly Idea House! Volunteers will help greet visitors, and answer questions at the Habitat site. The

site has two houses, including one "that has cutaways to show such

normally hidden features as formaldehyde-free insulation, radiant roof

barriers and the various engineered wood products used in construction."

These "zero-energy" houses have such features as solar roof tiles,

tankless water heaters, and satellite-linked automatic sprinklers. We will meet at the EV office at 8 a.m. to carpool to the Idea House in Menlo Park, afterwards we will get lunch at Cafe Borrone. If interested, email Bridgett at bridgett@stanford.edu. We still need more volunteers!! Also, please include whether or not you have a car or would be willing to drive.
