Leif Nelson is the Marketing Group Chair and the Ewald T. Grether Professor in Business Administration & Marketing. He was trained in psychology as an undergraduate at Stanford and as a doctoral student at Princeton. He studies human judgment and decision making, consumer preferences and choices, and consumption experience and consumer well-being. In addition, he studies the practice of science itself, by identifying research behaviors that undermine the value of evidence, and statistical tools to identify the presence of truly valuable evidence.
