Join us for a conversation with David Eagleman, neuroscientist, New York Times bestselling author and director for the Center for Science & Law. He will discuss the exciting business opportunities stemming from our growing understanding of how the brain works.

Eagleman is the writer and presenter of “The Brain,” an international television series that asks what it means to be human from a neuroscientist's point of view. He is an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford, where his research encompasses time perception, vision, synesthesia and the intersection of neuroscience with the legal system. He has spun two companies out of his lab, NeoSensory and BrainCheck.

Eagleman is the author of several books, including the international bestsellers "Sum" and “Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain.” He appears regularly on National Public Radio and BBC to discuss both science and literature.

The DFJ Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Seminar series is generously supported by the venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
