The Office for Religious Life welcomes all to attend a interdenominational Christian Good Friday service in Memorial Church. We focus on the theme of this holy day through prayer and contemplation. The Ven. Margaret Dyer-Chamberlain will preach. Music provided by University Organist Dr. Robert Huw Morgan.

Margaret Dyer-Chamberlain has been Associate Vice Provost for Administration in Student Affairs since February 1, 2016.  Her prior Stanford positions over the last 15 years include Senior Research Scholar and Managing Director at the Stanford Center on Longevity (2009-2016) and Senior Director of Capital Planning and Space Management (2001-2009).  Prior to moving to Stanford, she was Associate Provost at Dartmouth College from 1989 to 2001. Margaret has a BA from Smith College and an MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.  She was ordained a Deacon in the Episcopal Church in June of 2013 and serves as Archdeacon for the Diocese of California.  She is a board member of SF Cares and the Food Pantry of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church.  Margaret began her career working with refugees in the United States and Southeast Asia, and her volunteer passions include urban gardening in San Francisco and sewing baby blankets with a group of Stanford colleagues that are donated to San Francisco General Hospital each month.
