Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Mozart's First Violin Concerto

Celebrating 40 seasons of musical excellence, the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra is presenting four concerts this year in Dinkelspiel Auditorium, featuring world-famous PACO alumni. On Saturday evening, Oct. 29, violinist Krista Bennion Feeney - concertmaster of New York's famed St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble and the music director of the New Century Chamber Orchestra - will perform Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Mozart's first violin concerto. The orchestral program includes an early masterpiece by Felix Mendelssohn and Shostakovitch's darkly emotional Chamber Symphony, adapted from his String Quartet #8.
