Tim Wise, nationally renowned essayist, author and educator and a prominent voice on racism, inequality and white privilege, will be the keynote speaker for the 2017 Sally Dickson Lecture on Diversity, Inclusion and Reflection. The theme of the lecture is “Engaging Allies.”

The evening also will include a panel discussion and a post-event reception.

The Sally Dickson Lecture on Diversity, Inclusion and Reflection was created in 2015 by the vice provost for student affairs to honor the contributions of Sally Dickson, former associate vice provost for student affairs and dean of educational resources. Dickson's work in Student Affairs was dedicated to community-building and engagement among students, faculty and staff.
