Bio-X Seminar - Nonlinear ultrasonic imaging: a tool for probing normal and diseased hearts

Speaker: James Miller, Washington University in St. Louis.

James G. Miller, Ph.D. is a Professor of Physics in the Faculty of Arts and Science where he holds the Albert Gordon Hill chair, Professor of Medicine (Cardiology), and Professor of Biomedical Engineering.  

As Director of the Laboratory for Ultrasonics, Miller's interactions extend across a number of Departments and Schools of Washington University, as well as broadly into the industrial and commercial sectors  The focus of Dr. Miller's research is on the cardiovascular system, with special interest in the anisotropic  properties of the heart.
