Two Dreams at the Crossroads: Race and Class 40 Years After the March on Washington

Steven A. Holmes, an editor in the Washington Bureau of The New York Times, has reported extensively on race and demographic issues and is the author of "Ron Brown: An Uncommon Life," a biography of the late Commerce Secretary and Chairman of the Democratic Party.

Maria Blanco from the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund; Michael Omi, Associate Professor of Asian American Studies and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley; and Raul Ramirez, News and Public Affairs Director and Executive Producer of KQED Radio will respond to Mr. Holmes' remarks.
