Compline - An Evening Service of Song

A 30-minute Sunday evening service of chant, hymns, psalms and prayers sung by a variety of Stanford and local choirs in the candle-lit ambiance of Memorial Church. This week Compline features the Valley Presbyterian Church Choir, Portola Valley, under the direction of Raf Ornes.

Compline is offered when the work of the day is completed, and the quietness of evening settles over the hearts and minds of those who have come together in thankfulness for the blessings of the day that is past, and in anticipation of God's gift for a new day. All are welcome, and no participation is necessary.
