Seek Justice: Intervening for Victims of Bonded Slavery, Child Prostitution and Police Abuse

How can busy individuals make a dent in human rights abuses?

Reagan Demas, Director of the International Justice Mission's Operations in Africa and a Stanford alum, will make a powerful presentation of the work of IJM and how intervention is possible. A reception will follow Mr. Demas's presentation.

Mr. Demas will also hold a 'Justice Workshop' on Saturday Nov. 12, 10:30-11:30 AM at the Graduate Ccommunity Centre. The Workshop will describe the practical aspects of engaging in interventions and restoring victims to wholeness.

About the International Justice Mission:

The International Justice Mission (IJM) is a human rights agency that intervenes on behalf of the victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery, and oppression around the world. IJM provides victim relief, perpetrator accountability under the law, as well as prevention and aftercare programs. The organization is active in South Asia, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Africa (Zambia, Uganda and Kenya), and Guatemala.

IJM is a Christian agency which serves people regardless of faith-identity, and we welcome all who share a concern for human rights. For more information, please visit www.ijm.org.
