Fixing 404: A New Look at the Most Disdained Section of Sarbanes-Oxley


Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 is one of the most controversial and expensive corporate governance reform provisions in the nation's history. Professor Grundfest will discuss the factors that caused Section 404's costs to mushroom beyond all expectations and present a proposal to "fix 404."
