Sponsored by:
Department of Music

The ensemble presents a unique blend of traditional and contemporary songs spanning the entire scope of the Afro-Latin genre, mixed together in new and exciting ways. The evening includes songs composed or performed by greats such as Celia Cruz, Sonora Ponceña, Issac Delgado, Rubén Blades, and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra.  There is something for everyone — American jazz standards, rumba, classic salsa, Cuban timba and Latin jazz — and you will definitely *feel* the rhythm! Directed by Murray Low, the group is one of the finest academic performing groups of its kind and has been the recipient of several prestigious grants throughout its existence.
