This year's Great Annual Stanford Energy Bowl and Water Derby's theme is "Turning Off Turns Me On," and the name of the game is conservation.
The dorm and house that reduce their energy and water consumption by the largest percentage from the same period last year will receive t-shirts, eco-friendly technologies, and blessings from Mother Earth.
The competition involves every undergraduate residence and has two categories - all dorms will compete against each other; while all row houses, suites, and Manzanita buildings will face off. The Energy Bowl will start at the beginning of Winter quarter and finish at the end of February, 2006. The standings will be announced half-way through the competition, so there's no slacking off!
