King Institute/CCSRE Reception

Reception celebrating the inauguration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research & Education Institute and its new affiliation with the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. Remarks by Clayborne Carson, Director of the King Institute and Lawrence D. Bobo, Director of CCSRE; music by Guy & Candie Carawan, noted folk singers of the civil rights movement; and presentation of annual King Awards. Refreshments will be served.
